Since so many of you have asked about the Tough Dog suspension for Toyota LandCruiser 200, I spend a few days collecting the partnumbers and description for those suspension parts. I hope its usefull information to you LC200 owners out there, because it took a lot of time. Find your local Distributor here.

Note: Due to the front to rear rake of this vehicle, the rear can ONLY be lifted 20mm. The front will come up 40mm to level the vehicle out.

Tough Dog Shock Absorbers – 40mm Tough Dog Foam Cell

• FC404900 – Front 41mm bore/twin tube/60mm CasingRebound cutoff valve
• FC41114 – Rear 41mm bore/twin tube/60mm CasingRebound cutoff valve

Tough Dog Shock Absorbers – Adjustable 40mm bore

• BM404900 – Front 40mm bore/twin tube/60mm casing/9stage
• BM401114 – Rear 40mm bore/twin tube/60mm casing/9stage

Tough Dog Shock Absorbers – Ralph 53mm bore

• Use Foam Cell for front
• TDR1114 – Rear 53mm bore/twin tube/70mm casing/ 22mm rod

These are a few pics or installing a ARB rear bumper on the Toyota LandCruiser 200. I found the pictures in the IHMud land Cruiser forum. I thought this would be relevant for some of you, since its often a needed installation for those of us who go off road. This black Toyota LandCruiser VX 200 is build by Arctic Trucks. The Tires are 35×12,50R17 on 17″x10″ Alloy wheels. To fit the tires, and give the needed ground clearance, Arctic Trucks have mounted both their own lift kits together with cut fenders front and back.

Here is a short video of the 2010 Dakar Rally team, using the almsot stock Toyota VX 200 Land cruiser. They are running biodiesel in the V8 engine, and so far are doing better then some of the top-class teams. You can check their websites (japanese) for more pictures. I havent found the detailed specs in english yet, but I will keep looking untill I have found more information.

For those with a Lexus LX 570 who would like a bit more power, and dont go off road to often, the tuning company named Asi might have what you need. Going from zero to 100 km/h, now takes less than 5 seconds in your Lexus 570.

The details of what transforms the Lexus SUV’s 5.7-liter V-8 engine, from the stock 380 hp to around 600 hp, still havent been disclosed yet. But judging from a video I have seen, it sounds a lot like a supercharger have been involved. ASI calls the demo car “Invader” – I would call it “Darth Invader”. For those who upgrade from a Toyota LandCruiser 100, to a 200 – the ARB Roof Rack to not fit over. Not even if you use the 200 mounting kit from ARB. The with of the rack is different.

• Up to 150kg of carrying capacity
• Alloy mesh floors are standard in all cages
• Front air deflector to reduce wind noise

ARB have released both a front and a real Air Locker for Toyota Landcruiser VX 200. These are the model numbers, in case you are going to order them for you 4X4.

• ARB RD64 rear Air Locker
• ARB RD141 front Air Locker

The RD141 front Air Locker is the same 34 spline from the Tundra, but the RD64 rear Air Locker is a 9.5″, 32 Spline. Unless you are a certified Toyota mechanic, please dont try and install this on your own – you will most likely end up with a really poor result.

Kaymar produce a read bumper for Toyota Landcruiser VX 200. It’s possible to install it with both arms like this, wich give you the capacity for the spare wheel, and a NATO 5 gallon Jerry cans.

A Safari Snorkel mounted on a Toyota Landcruiser VX 200. Other mods on the LC200 include a 2″ lift at the front, 285/70/17 BFG M/T KM2 tires and a ARB Bull Bar.
