This is a short video from the german Toyota site, of the LandCruiser 200 series doing a mild offroad track. Traction looks good, even on stock road orientated tyres. The model sold in Germany is VDJ200, with the V8 turbo diesel engine. I think its great that the German Toyota team, have spend the time on making these videos. If you have enough time, try browsing through some of their other videos – including some with the old 40 and 60′s series LandCruisers. Youtube Channel Link

TJM have released news about their redesigned Bull bars for the Toyota LandCruiser 200 series. It’s the T3 Steel model in the images you see below. If any of you readers have one of these models on your LandCruiser, please send me a picture and review, so we can get a little more data. The TJM T3 Steel Bull bar is a BUMPER REPLACEMENT BAR – so there is no cutting to make it fit, its mounted using only regular tools, and can be done without any experiance (but you do need a set of strong arms).

For those of us that goes off road and through deep water or dust, a snorkel is a valuable addition to your Toyota LandCruiser. The people at ARB have made a Safari Snorkel that fits both the Petrol and Diesel V8 TwinTurbo LandCruiser 200 series. The listed partnumber SS87HF, but check with your local ARB dealer before ordering, because there can be variations based on where you are located in the world. check ARB’s website for more info – LINK

Converting a LX570 into a Convertible was not my first choice, if it came to rebuilding a Lexus LX570. But the beautiful thing is, someone thought of it, and saved me the trouble of making the same mistake. I cant think of anything else to use it for, than cruising down the mainstreet on a sunny day, or mayby going to/on the beach.

A UTE or Flatbed version of the Toyota LandCruiser 200 series, are now avalible through the Australien company Wide Bay Motor Bodies. While this aint the best looking design for a 200 series, looks dont really matter when it comes to this kind of 4X4. Wide Bay Motor Bodies makes a lot of other conversion of these types, so make sure you check out their website.

ARB commercial bars for Toyota LandCruiser 200 (product code 3415100) is the rough model most of us end up buying, because function comes before form. I have taken a few pics from their website, and below you can see some of the technical details on the ARB Bull Bars. Compared to the 200 Series deluxe bar, its almost the same function, but without the design, colour coding and urethane buffers. But who can honestly say they need that for real Off Road action?

To honor 60 years on the road in Japan, Toyota have made a 60th anniversary Toyota LandCruiser 200 model. The Land Cruiser is a exclusive black design, that I am sure fits the buyers. I am waiting for the last details on this model, but will keep you informed as soon as I get my hands on them.

When looking for a long range auxiliary fuel tank or long range replacement fuel tank, the australian company called The Long Ranger(thelongranger.com.au) is a safe place to start looking. With that kind of fuel cell, you can get a capacity of as much as 180 liters (47,5 US gallons). They have models for a long list of auto brands, but since our site focus on the LandCruiser 200 model, I will stick to listing those tanks.

These are a few pics or installing a ARB rear bumper on the Toyota LandCruiser 200. I found the pictures in the IHMud land Cruiser forum. I thought this would be relevant for some of you, since its often a needed installation for those of us who go off road. It’s two different links, where the first is good picture of the endresult, and the other is a complete guide to how you install the ARB rear bumper on your 200 LandCruiser.
